Back at home Hayley danced around the house playfully. At one point she ran into her younger sister, Lily, causing them to fall to the floor with a thud. Lily, who was only seven, had ended up crying which caused Hayley to get  scolded by her mother. This did not however dampen her mood.

That night Alexander sighed, he wanted to wash his jeans....but they didn't have a dryer hear, it would take them DAYS to dry! He plopped on to the bed in front of him heavily. "Oh well.." He slipped off his jeans and opened the closet to find an old pair of pants he had, putting those on. He carried the jeans downstairs to a basket full of dirty laundry and asked his mother to wash them.

No longer worrying about his pants, Alexander searched the house for something to do. The sun wouldn't set for at least another two hours, and his phone had died that morning since there was no outlet to charge it on. He wandered into the yard, then back into the house multiple times before his father stopped him. "Son, there's a youth group tonight. Go before I tie you down or make you work in the farm." He chuckled

"Fine, since I don't have any other plans I'll go." He went up to his room and stuffed his iPod into his pocket before leaving however.

When he arrived at the building he thought he saw  a familiar pair of braids turn the corner, but it was probably just his imagination. He popped a stick of gum into his mouth, always keeping a fresh pack of gum in his pockets. Alexander started to blow a bubble when he opened the door, but it popped almost instantly, much to his chagrin. The young man looked around the room; juice and snacks on a table, ocean blue eyes fixated on him, some instruments for the singing...wait, blue eyes? He looked back at those eyes, discovering that it was none other than Hayley staring at him. He grinned at her and stared back, on second thought she was rather pretty to him.

"Hi there." Alexander said quietly, apparently they were early to class, and the only ones there. He walked over to sit next to her.

Hayley looked up at him nervously. "Hello." She stated, trying to be polite. When he seated himself next to her she almost wanted to leave right then, but she knew her mother would scold her. "What brings you here?"

"I had nothing better to do." He shrugged with a smile "Want a piece of gum?" He offered, and slid a stick out of his pocket. She put up a hand, declining his offer. "Ah well, suit yourself." He pulled out his iPod and slipped an ear bud in, putting the player on shuffle.

Her eyes darted to his hands in an instant when he pulled out his iPod, it was forbidden to bring such a...thing...to the church, but she had to admit she was mildly curious "What...is that?" she pointed to it

Alexander looked up at her, then followed the direction of her finger to his iPod "Are you serious?" He questioned, looking back at her. After realizing she in fact was, he moved in closer to her face and stared her in the eye.

Hayley blushed at his movement, almost to scared to move backwards, but she managed, and the boy spoke again "It's a monster made of electricity." He stated in a low voice "When you plug this into your ear..." he held up an ear bud "It transmits powerful sound waves that make you go crazy and thirst for blood. Human blood." He gave her an evil grin and loomed over her.

Hayley fell off her chair and let out a shrill scream, in fear and pain. She was just starting to cry when Alexander had an outburst of laughter. She looked up in slight confusion "Oh, Oh god.." He gasped "That was too hilarious, do you know how gullible you are?!" He wiped a tear from the corner of his eye.
